The 2023 Christmas ornament fundraiser features The Music Box/Beverly's.

A Brief History of The Music Box:
The Music Box, located on Bantam Lake, featured Big Band music in the 1930s and 1940s. In the 1950s, the Music Box was used as a roller skating rink. In 1961 the Digimus family bought the Music Box and changed the name to Beverly’s. In the early 1970s it was turned into a rock and roll venue. In 2011, DEEP purchased Beverly’s and decided that demolition would be the best option. The building is gone, the memories remain, and our Christmas ornament fundraiser is dedicated to all those who enjoyed the Music Box/Beverly’s.

Ornaments are available at a cost of $20 each at The Town Hall, Bella Luna, The Deli, The Morris Spirit Shop, The Wise Old Dog or Ed Dorsett at 860-567-0270 for information on purchasing an ornament.
